VALLETTA

This full day tour of the capital city Valletta, begins with a stop at
the Upper Barrakka Gardens for a magnificent view of the Grand Harbour,
followed by St. John's Co-Cathedral: the Auberges and Fortifications.
Before lunch guests will have some time to visit the open-air market and
explore Valletta's hidden charms. In the afternoon the tour visits Casa
Rocca Piccola, a private stately home followed by the Malta Experience
multi-vision show which depicts The history of Malta
Half Day Three Cities

This is a morning of the Three Cities, starting from Valletta guests will
board a traditional Maltese water taxi, the Dghajsa, to the Maritime Museum
in Vittoriosa. Group will see the pre-siege Auberges including Auberge
D'Angleterre (exterior), Bastions and Post D'Angleterre, Fort St. Angelo
(exterior), Inquisitor's Palace and the Church of St. Lawrence. The tour
ends with a visit to the Rinella Battery.
Half Day tour of Villages
Tour starts by heading to the four old villages of Naxxar, Lija, Balzan
and Birkirkara, to understand the lay out of a typical village and take
in the wonderful architecture. In Birkirkara the group si shown round
St. Helen's Basilica, while in Naxxar tour will visit 'Palazzo Parisio',
a fascinating Palazzo built between 1898 and 1906. After, continue the
journey further inland to Attard to visit the Gardens of San Anton Palace.
The Palace and gardens were built by the Grandmasters and are now the
official residence of the President of Malta.
Half Day driving tour
of Malta
Leaving the pier by motorcoach, tour starts with a visit to the typical
Maltese fishing village of Marsaxlokk with its multi coloured fishing
boats (luzzus) in the harbour and the daily ritual of mending fishing
nets and preparing for the next fishing trip. From here tour goes to the
picturesque rocky inlet of Wied Iz-Zurriq, (photo stop at the top) and
the temples at Hagar Qim which were constructed in the late megalithic
period on a land slope facing the tiny rock island of Filfla. Drive to
Dingle Cliffs, Malta's highest point (photo stop), and past Verdala Castle
set above the green orchard of Buskett Gardens, to the "Silent City" -
Mdina, the old Capital of Malta.
